About the Almanac

Charting the Urantia Papers

A resource for revelation students, drawn from The Urantia Book.

Welcome

The Master Universe Almanac charts the data of the Urantia Papers into lists, tables, and charts, each one referenced to its source in the text.

It is a resource for revelation students and other interested people. The Urantia Book is the primary source for its data. The Almanac reports what the papers say; it does not argue about what they mean. Interpretation belongs to research, and is kept elsewhere.

The presenters of the book, the revelators, have passed along a great deal of information. Their narrative is packed with details about matter, mind, spirit, and personality throughout the master universe. 376 times, they condensed data into numbered lists containing essential points to study and learn.

How the data is sourced

The Almanac is a ready reference of lists, tables, and charts which faithfully reflect the Urantia Book's information. Each dataset in the Almanac is referenced to its origin in the text. Follow reference-links to examine the data in context and in more detail.

A line above each table states where its data came from: whether the papers themselves give the list, whether the Almanac arranged it from a single passage, or whether it was compiled from several.

If you discover a difference between what is here and what is in the Urantia Papers, side with the papers, and please let me know.

Reading the Almanac

  • Every reference opens the book beside the table, so you can check the data without losing your place.
  • Passages you highlight and notes you take here are the same ones waiting in the Study Edition.
  • The papers can be searched from within any page.
  • It reads in light or dark, on a desktop or a phone.

Editor's notes — my own remarks rather than the book's — are set in italics against a rule at the right.

Where to start

New readers may care to begin with Deity, the first of the Part I pages, which charts the names and meanings given for God. Or begin with the List of Lists — all 376 lists the revelators set down, each one opening to its place in the text.

Thanks

Sincere thanks to those who have contributed to creating this reference, especially Archer Ford, the compiler of the Urantia Book List of Lists.

Change Log

  • 23 September 2026 — New checks hold every edition to the Urantia Foundation’s Standard Reference Text. Each title, heading and paragraph is compared word for word with the Foundation’s own text, along with its citation, printed page and italics; and every page is checked as it actually displays, so that each paragraph appears once, complete and in order. All 197 papers pass in all four editions. One paragraph (30:3.12) had straight quotation marks where the book sets curly ones, and is corrected.
  • 22 September 2026 — Corrected the Foreword in the Study Edition reader. After the “Acknowledgment” line, the heading “XII. The Trinities” was printed a second time, so the acknowledgment appeared to stand before Section XII. The text itself was always correct; the reader displayed it wrongly. The same fault repeated a heading after the “* * *” dividers in five other papers, and those are fixed too.
